On 22 November, another concert of the series Romantic Nights at Rudolfinum called The Legend of Cello took place in Sukova síň at Rudolfinum in Prague. The name gives away that the audience heard songs for cello and piano by Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms and Luboš Fišera. A famous German cellist Niklas Schmidt gave a magnificent performance using his instrument from 1700, and he was accompanied by a no less renowned Czech pianist Ivo Kahánek, who also played wonderfully.
The beautiful romantic sound of the ANT.PETROF 225 piano echoed within the concert hall and resonated with hearts of numerous music lovers.
Another concerts of this series are going to be held in Sukova síň on 5 and 15 December. Enhance the atmosphere of Advent and enjoy pre-Christmas time by attending one of them. You won’t regret!
